Sandra Bullock's 2014 Oscars dress

We can't get over just how gorgeous Sandra Bullock is at this year’s Academy Awards.

The actress, who will turn the big 5-0 in July, didn't look a day over 25 in her breathtaking, navy blue Alexander McQueen Oscars gown that was sophisticated, sexy and chic all at once.

The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and flattering draping in the front, not to mention a short train that was everything.

Bullock accessorized her stunning gown with simple Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and went for glamorous side-swept curls that complemented her look beautifully.

The real question is, where'd she get her banging body from? She can attribute that to a whole lot of time spent hitting the gym and doing non-stop dance training six months prior to filming for her latest box office hit, the Oscar-nominated film Gravity.

"I pushed my body to the extreme," she said during a Venice Film Festival news conference last year. "Strength-wise, I had to know I could do anything asked of me at any given point, so not a day went by that we didn't train."

Well, her hard work certainly paid off. Not only was the movie a major hit, but Bullock's still defying the rules of gravity when it comes to aging; she's simply flawless.

Emma Stone, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 sweetheart, graces the cover of May's Vogue and freely admits that she googles herself. What she found out is that she isn't much of a style icon and that the internet thinks she's a "bland, basic b****." Ouch. Stone proves that even Google isn't always an authority when it comes to something as fickle and subjective as the public's opinion of celebrities.

Late last year, Scarlett Johansson told Elle Canada that she had to stop googling herself. "I've stopped googling myself — nothing good ever comes of it. It gives you an inflated sense of yourself, too. It makes you feel like everyone is paying attention to you and they're not." Johansson is sort of right — people are paying attention to her (and other celebrities), just not for long.

Robert Downey, Jr. participated in a celebrity round table and one of the questions asked was if the participants (including Brad Pitt and Anne Hathaway) googled themselves. RDJ's answer was refreshingly candid. "Oh, I love all that s***, personally. Sorry. I just love it. Because it's a hoot. Some people overstate their support, like they know you. Other people are busy doing something else and just want to go on this chat site and say some despicable character assassination, which I honestly think they kind of nailed it. I do have that shortcoming. It's really fun."

While Brad Pitt denied googling himself, saying he barely knew how to run a computer, Anne Hathaway first denied googling herself. After RDJ's admission, Hathaway came out of the Google closet and admitted that she had lied about not googling herself. She admitted, "OK, I have a confession. I lied before when you asked if I googled myself. I do. I [was] embarrassed by it because I know how terrible it is."

At the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Sandra Bullock cautioned against reading Google comments about herself. "Some things I was very well aware of. 'Sandra Bullock is over 40′ came up a lot. I know that. 'Sandra Bullock's way past 40.' Yeah, I know that, too. 'There's absolutely nothing special about her acting. She's not particularly attractive, I can't stand her; she's mediocre. She's over 40.' And apparently, Julia [Roberts] — you and I are in a dispute over George Clooney. We talked about this, right? Gasp. Kim Kardashian googles herself? Of course, Kim Kardashian googles herself. What else is she supposed to do in the minutes between staring at herself in a mirror at the gym, posting to Twitter, taking Instagram pictures, being on camera for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and having her picture taken by the paparazzi? While on a Los Angeles shopping trip in 2012, Kardashian put her phone down just long enough for the overly-observant to notice that she had "Google Alert Kim Kardashian" on her screen. What's the big deal? Don't we all scroll through Google for updates about ourselves while boutique shopping?

Sandra Bullock as a surprise graduation gift? The Warren Easton Charter High School class of 2014 certainly isn't complaining.

Making an unadvertised appearance at the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans on Monday, May 19, the celebrated actress and proud mother imparted her best advice to those about to move on from their high school days.

Sandra Bullock's Alexander McQueen gown is a huge hit >>

The mother of Louis Bullock, who has been known to drop a curse word on stage, was on her best behavior, sharing some of the wisdom she's gained during her 49 years of existence.

"You know at Warren Easton, you are loved and appreciated and supported for what you have to offer," she told 200 cap-and-gown-clad grads. "I was trying to remember my graduation and, oddly, I couldn't remember anything. I remembered how good I looked and then I went back and looked at pictures and I really didn't look so good. I didn't remember anything, because I was so worried about the future."

Imparting further advice, Bullock shared, "I wished someone had said to me what I've been spending the last four years telling a little boy, who I love more than anything, who happens to be my son. So I thought, 'Maybe I will share that with you guys,' that what I tell a 4-year-old is what I wish someone had told me before I stepped out into the world.

"The first thing is stop worrying so much," she began. Secondly, she advised all those listening to "raise the bar higher." She added, "It is noisy out there and for some reason, people want to see you fail. That's not your problem, that is their problem. I only remember the moments where I tried beyond what I thought I could do and I do not remember the failures because I didn't. Nothing's a failure, it's just not supposed to work out that way because something better is supposed to come along."

Her final semi-serious bit? Bullock told the grads, "The third thing we work on [is] at home is in the morning. We turn on the music really really loud before we leave the house. And the rule is, you have to dance a little bit before you step out in the world, because it changes the way you walk."

Additional funny pieces of advice from the woman who knows better than to google herself included eating "something green every day with every meal" and "do not pick your nose in public."

Concluding, Bullock told everyone to "go find your joy. It's what you're going to remember in the end. It's not the worry, it's not the what-ifs. It's the joy that stays with you. I want to thank you for the joy that Warren Easton brings me every day."

"I feel like I didn't remember anything because I was so worried about the future," Bullock began, looking back at her past and explaining, "I wasn't present." Reminiscing caused her to ponder the question: If you could go back and talk to your younger self, what would you say?

Her answer to that question came from the advice that she finds herself offering her 4-year-old son every day.

Stop worrying so much

Bullock explained that the most memorable moments of life do not come from the time you spent worrying. "Anything I worried about didn't happen," she recalled. "Other stuff happened, but not what I worried about. The unknown, we can't do anything about. And I don't remember any of the moments in my life where I worried. So, that's a lot of time I couldn't get back."

Raise the bar higher

Arguably, Bullock's strongest piece of advice to these young graduates was to set their own standards for success. "It's noisy out there," Bullock warned, "and for some reason, people out there want to see you fail. But that is not your problem. That is their problem."

Additionally, Bullock encouraged these graduates to embrace failure as opportunity, stating, "I only remember the moments where I tried beyond what I thought I could do. I do not remember the failures, because I didn't. Nothing is a failure. It's just not supposed to work out that way, because something better is supposed to come from it."

Dance before you step into the world

"We turn on the music really, really loud before we leave the house," Bullock stated, describing her morning routine with her son. "The rule is, you have to dance a little bit before you step out into the world, because it changes the way you walk."

Make a little bit of an effort

"Don't pick your nose in public," Bullock laughed. "How about we just go get a tissue? I know it takes a little extra effort, but it gets the job done right away and there's no public humiliation. And that can go with a lot of other things as well. So, just make a little bit of an effort."

Give two-armed hugs

"When someone you care about hugs you, hug them back with two arms," Bullock encouraged the graduates. "Don't do the one-armed hug, because when you hug someone with two arms, it allows you to lean on somebody, and we always need someone to lean on."

Find someone who appreciates you

When someone doesn't want to play with him, Bullock reminds her son, "Not everyone is going to love us. Go find somebody who does want to play with you and who appreciates what you have to offer."

Find your joy

In her closing remarks, Bullock encouraged these young adults by stating, "Go find your joy. Whatever that is, go find your joy. Are you going to have a good day, or are you going to have a great day? Because it's completely up to you."

Graduation day for high school students is a huge deal. Graduation day with a surprise commencement speech from Sandra Bullock is an even bigger deal. On Monday, May 19, the Oscar-winning actress surprised the 2014 graduating senior class of Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans with a heartfelt, funny and profound graduation speech.

After listening to Bullock's moving speech, SheKnows decided to round up a few of the best quotes from it. Take a look.

Advice she'd give her younger self

Asked what she would say to her younger self, Bullock explained that she's thought about the concept and realized that it's the same thing she's spent the last four years telling her New Orleans-adopted son Louis Bardo. "Stop being scared of the unknown, because anything I worried about didn't happen. Other stuff happened. The unknown, we can't do anything about," she explained.

Let loose

As for how she and the youngster start their day at home, Sandra says it involves a little bit of music. "The rule is you have to dance a little bit in the morning before you leave the house because it changes the way you walk out in the world," she told the crowd.

Ignore the non-believers

Bullock has had her share of highs and lows, but the actress told students that you have to ignore those who don't want you to succeed. "It's noisy out there and for some reason, people out there want to see you fail, but that's not your problem. That is their problem," she said boldly. "I only remember the moments where I tried beyond what I thought I could do, and I do not remember the failures because I didn't. Nothing is a failure."

Don't dig for gold

Comedy isn't something foreign to Bullock, so you know the star had to find time in her speech to get audiences laughing a little bit with some practical advice. "Do not pick your nose in public," she said to the laughing crowd. "Think about this. How about we don't pick it in private, either? How about we just go get a tissue? I know it take a little extra effort, but it gets the job done right away."

Cutest couple of the summer? It could be if the E! News reports are correct. The site is claiming that Sandra Bullock and Chris Evans are in the early stages of dating.

Their source revealed, "They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase. They haven't put a title on it, but they really like each other."

The couple has been spotted several times around the West Hollywood area enjoying dinner with friends. The duo was seen with Chelsea Handler and Melissa McCarthy at the WeHo hot spot, Craig's, in April. They were again seen in early May with Handler at Cecconi's in the same neighborhood.

The two stars first met at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February 2012. The 32-year-old actor must have been pretty excited because he has been a longtime fan of The Blind Side star.

Evans told Playboy later that year, "I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl. I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, 'That's her.'"

Evans even admitted to having a "big poster" of the Oscar-winner when he was younger. There is a 17-year difference, but age doesn't seem to matter to the smitten stars.

Evans previously dated Minka Kelly, but they broke up in October of 2013. Bullock has kept a low profile on the dating scene since her marriage to Jesse James ended in June 2010.

Sandra Bullock's sense of peace and security was shattered over the weekend when a stalker managed to break into her home while she was asleep.

The actress was in her Los Angeles, California, home when the intruder was caught on her property about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Police identified Joshua Corbett as the intruder. He was arrested without incident and booked on a residential burglary charge with bail set at $50,000.

PHOTOS: Is this the couple who robbed Miley Cyrus? >>

Was Corbett's motive robbery or something more nefarious? Two law enforcement officials close to the investigation told NBC News that the man was obsessed with the Gravity actress, kept a diary about her and was in possession of some of her personal items at the time of his arrest.

Bullock, rumored to be dating Chris Evans, was sleeping alone at the time of the incident, having celebrated her Decade of Hotness honor at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards the night before.

"I feel like I'm at my funeral. Decade of Hotness… My question was what decade? I have several under my belt. It should really be Decade of Hot Mess. That I can own, and I do that well, and I'm still convinced I'm up here because someone dropped out and they needed someone quickly, and we know I'm home on Saturdays," she joked while accepting her antler statue.

"I'd like to thank the Guys Choice Awards for this: the horns. How many people hold this up and say, 'I'm so horny!' I'd like to thank you for this honor. This is an amazing slingshot for a 49-year-old. I'd like to thank every hairstylist and makeup artist for creating the illusion because I didn't look like this a couple hours ago… I'm just one of the luckiest girls I know and three of the people I'm just so crazy about are right next to me, she added, referring to past co-stars Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves and Matthew McConaughey, who each gave their own speeches honoring the actress.

The 2014 Guys' Choice Awards airs on Spike TV on Wednesday, June 11.

Police are unsure how Corbett was able to access Bullock's home. The actress was unhurt.

If you're counting the days until Think Like a Man Too hits theaters next week like us, you'll be happy for this little slice of style inspiration courtesy of the lovely Gabrielle Union. The actress hit the movie's Los Angeles premiere in this black lacy piece of style perfection and we couldn't help but obsess.

When the temperature rises, we typically stow away our black clothes (summer calls for brights, after all) but Gabrielle has us rethinking black lace for the hot months. Worn in a loose, airy silhouette over a bralette, her crop top looks sassy and totally wearable over a matching high-waisted pencil skirt. Keeping with the monochromatic theme, Gabrielle stepped into some black peep toe ankle strap heels and added a touch of color with a classic red lip.

The final verdict? As if her outfit wasn't chic enough already, Gabrielle finished things off with a sleek, slicked back 'do and some classy bracelets. We might want to think like a man when it comes to dating, but we also want to think like Gabrielle when it comes to our style.

When we think "summer style icons," Lauren Conrad is always one of the first ladies that comes to mind. The fashion and beauty expert and author stopped by Extra headquarters for a TV appearance this week looking adorable in a summery fit and flare dress.

Doesn't Lauren look flirty and summery in her colorful dress and white ankle strap sandals? So cute. She paired the frock with a bronzed glow, beachy waves, metallic nails and the most fresh-faced makeup we've seen in quite some time. Part of the reason we adore this look so much? Its versatility. Honestly, you could make this look work for any summer outing you have this season.

The final verdict? While gorgeous, the color of Lauren's dress doesn't always mesh well with all skin tones, so we've found a fun, flirty silhouette that mirrors Lauren's cool vibe but incorporates a bunch of colors so you'll be able to rock her look for your unique skin tone.

Even though he's behind bars, Sandra Bullock can't rest easy after her stalker pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday. Joshua James Corbett was caught inside the actress's home on June 8.

He is charged with breaking and entering her house in addition to over a dozen felony charges because law enforcement found an arsenal of weapons in his Montrose, California, home. According to the Los Angeles Times, the 19 felony counts include seven counts for possession of a machine gun, two counts of possession of an illegal assault rifle and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device.

Corbett has been ordered by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Renee Korn to stay at least 200 yards away from the Gravity star. That shouldn't be hard since he's currently being held in lieu of bail set at $2.18 million.

Corbett scaled a fence on her property and broke into her house in the early hours of June 8. Prosecutors reported that he entered through a back door. While he did not have any weapons on him at the time, Bullock was home during the break-in after attending a Hollywood event the night before.

It's unclear where her 4-year-old son Louis was during the incident, but Us Weekly confirmed he was with a nanny that evening.

A source told the entertainment magazine that Bullock is "totally freaked out by what happened," and is in the process of "hiring around-the-clock security."

The new charges involving the illegal weapons carry a sentence of 12 years or more in jail.

Sandra Bullock came face-to-face with her stalker

Bullocks' intruder has been named as Joshua Corbett, and TMZ managed to get their hands on the search warrant that the police used to search the man's home, which describes the terrifying confrontation between the The Heat actress and Corbett.

Bullock apparently heard a loud banging noise inside her mansion around 1 a.m. last month, June 8, and when she went to lock her bedroom door she was confronted by Corbett in the hallway, the documents state.

However, the star reacted quickly by locking the door and calling 911 for help. It's lucky that Bullock reacted quickly, because Corbett is clearly delusional and the warrant details that he was in possession of a notebook which contained handwritten notes, including one that reads, "I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you."

And it gets even scarier, because Bullock told the police that she had showered before heading to her bedroom, and it's possible that Corbett was in the vicinity the entire time.

Creepy! Once the police arrived, Corbett apparently screamed outside Bullock's door, saying, "Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges."

Corbett was charged with burglary and stalking, along with 19 felony counts for possessing "an arsenal of weapons, including a half-dozen machine guns," as the District Attorney's Office announced in June, Us Weekly reports.
