Any volunteers? Ryan Gosling wants to be 'making babies'

Ryan Gosling has his pick of pretty much any lady in the land, so why is he talking about his ex-girlfriends and future children?

Ryan Gosling is riding high right now with rave reviews in movies like Crazy, Stupid, Love and the newly-released Drive; but these days he's got another sort of production on his mind.

Ryan Gosling wants to be a father

"There's interest but I'm in a committed relationship with film. I'm giving as much to it as a marriage," Gosling told U.K. newspaper The Times. Gosling was recently spotted holding hands with actress Eva Mendes at Disneyland.

After all, Gosling feels like his two ex-girlfriends -- likely Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams -- are too much to live up to.

"I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven't met anybody who could top them," he continued.

That doesn't mean Gosling isn't ready for a family when that right girl comes along.

"I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen," he said.

We know one thing: Ryan Gosling Jr. and Ryanita Gosling will be stand-up kids who break up street fights, even if it is embarrassing.

"I'm embarrassed. I think that guy really was stealing that other guy's painting, so I shoulda just kept my nose out of it. It was sad, because it turns out that… I said to the guy, 'Why you doing this?' And he said, 'Because he's stealing my painting.' and I said, "Well how do you know?" and he said, "Because he comes here every day and looks at my paintings,'" Gosling told MTV about his YouTube dust-up in Manhattan a few weeks ago.

"And then the guy from The Notebook shows up and makes it weirder. And it just… the whole thing, nobody wins. Nobody won."

Celebrity divorce parties that should have happened

How are you going to celebrate your divorce? For some, this may sound odd, but divorce parties are becoming more and more popular, especially in Hollywood. Here, we present the top five celeb divorce parties that didn't happen but should have.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis Divorce Party

Divorce parties might seem a bit unconventional, but getting all the friends who have supported you during the divorce process together for a party seems like a must for any new divorcee. And with 50 percent of all marriages ending in divorce in the U.S., it seems like the trend will only increase.

Divorce parties are particularly appealing to celebrities, as they are a great way to show the public and media that they're moving on and that they will survive. Plus, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood make it the perfect place to throw an over-the-top divorce party.

Recent celeb divorcees like Jennifer Lopez and Maria Shriver could definitely use a divorce party to officially tell their exes and the world that they have moved on. While they still have time to throw a divorce party, there are some celebs over the years that really should have had one. Here are the top five celeb divorce parties that didn't happen -- but should have:

1Elizabeth Taylor

She was Hollywood royalty and after being married eight times , Taylor should have had at least one divorce party. Why didn't she? Perhaps she was too busy getting married to throw one.

2Ivana Trump

After being married to Donald Trump and working out a divorce with the ultimate businessman, this woman must have needed a divorce party. And I think it would have been a doozy, especially after she said in public, "Don't get mad. Get everything."

3Fran Drescher

This beautiful TV star broke up with her husband, Peter Marc Jacobson, because he came out of the closet. If that isn't a reason to have a divorce party, I don't know what is.

4Sandra Bullock

The Blind Side star was blindsided when her bad boy husband Jesse James cheated on her. Bullock took the high road and stayed strong, but if anyone deserves a divorce party, it's her.

5Demi Moore

Moore and Bruce Willis seem to have a great relationship after their divorce. They've certainly stayed strong and connected over the years, which has set a great example for their children. This is a couple who could have thrown a divorce party together!

Mariska Hargitay adopts another baby

There's a good reason why the Law & Order: SVU actress decided to cut back her working hours, and now we know why.

Mariska Hargitay and her husband, Peter Hermann, are proud parents of a new baby boy, Andrew Nicolas, according to People magazine.

"We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said 'Yes, yes, yes!'" the mom of three tells People.

"We knew this was our guy. Everything about it felt right. It felt divinely right."

The couple had also adopted a baby girl, Amaya Josephine, just six months ago, and have a biological child together, 5-year-old August.

Speaking about the decision to adopt their daughter Amaya earlier this year, the actress said that bringing her home was a perfect decision for their newly multi-racial family.

Hargitay said, "We were considering both international and domestic adoption and we're thrilled that this is the way our prayers were answered."

"We talked a lot about mixed-race adoptions and we are very excited that we are now a multi-racial family. We're just so happy she's here."

While some celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Meg Ryan have adopted their children from foreign countries such as Cambodia and China, many other stars have opted to adopt domestically, including Sandra Bullock and Denise Richards.

Richards, who kept her two-year-long adoption process "extremely quiet," says she was inspired to adopt a child from the U.S. after her own mother, Joni Richards, died of cancer. Bullock adopted her son, New Orleans-born Louis Bardo, shortly after her divorce from ex-husband Jesse James in 2010.

Congrats to Mariska on the new addition her family!

The nursery of Sandra Bullock's son isn't adorned with cutesy animals or the alphabet -- baby Louis has a Warhol!

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock's baby Louis can now add "art collector" to his itty-bitty resume. The adopted son of the actress has been given his very own Andy Warhol painting!

Sandra Bullock, pictured here at Thursday's amfAR Inspiration Gala at the Chateau Marmont in L.A., is the lucky recipient of her agents' generosity. At an auction benefiting amfAR AIDS research, a bid of $14,000 won Andy Warhol's "Peaches" print for her 1-year-old son Louis.

Check out a photo of Sandra Bullock and son Louis in pirate gear below!

"I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap [expletive] and gifting my son with his first Warhol," Sandra Bullock joked. The actress, who remains adamant that she and Ryan Reynolds are nothing more than friends, was photographed entering the event solo.

The event honored the late Elizabeth Taylor, who helped create amfAR in 1985. Speaking of the icon who passed away in March, Bullock shared, "Earlier this year, the world lost a radiant woman of courage and compassion. She lives on in every person she touched. She never thought twice to put her arm around someone who was suffering, and that is the gift we have as human beings, the ability to reach out and touch another human being. Tonight we can honor this extraordinary woman and finish what she started."

Sandra Bullock, the mother of quite possibly the world's youngest owner of an Andy Warhol painting, became mom to Louis through adoption in 2010. The pair is pictured here, dressed in pirate gear after attending a themed birthday party in early October.

Jesse James is returning to TV for American Chopper battle

Jesse James takes on the Teutuls in a special live episode of American Chopper.

Jesse JamesJesse James is taking a break from his messy breakups and he's getting back to his first love -- building motorcycles. James will take on Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. in a special two-part American Chopper bike challenge airing Dec. 5 and 6 on the Discovery Channel.

The three will each build motorcycles, and the winner will be selected by a vote of viewers live on Dec. 6 from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, according to a release from the Discovery Channel.

The Teutels, who are associated with Orange County Choppers in New York, have been featured on American Chopper and American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior since 2003 on both Discovery and TLC. James of West Coast Choppers is a veteran reality TV bike builder whose credits include the 2000 documentary Motorcycle Mania and Monster Garage from 2002 to 2006, both on Discovery.

However, James gained infamy in 2010 when then-wife Sandra Bullock filed for divorce, claiming numerous counts of infidelity on James' part. He was linked to biker model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and photos of James cavorting with Nazi imagery were uncovered.

Later, James rather crassly revealed details of the breakup in his book, American Outlaw.

"The feeling of shame and sadness that washed over me as Sandy began to cry was almost beyond measure," James said. "I didn't touch her. I sat frozen in my chair, watching, as Sandy's small body shook with sobs."

After the Bullock breakup, James soon announced an engagement to tattoo artist Kat Von D and proceeded to break it off with her not once, but twice.

Where in the world is Jennifer Lopez?

According to new reports, Walden Media and Jennifer Lopez are teaming up to bring iconic globe trekker Carmen Sandiego to the big screen.

According to Us magazine, Jennifer Lopez will be producing and possibly starring in a live-action film remake of the iconic franchise, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. At this point, Lopez is attached to the project as a producer only.

The actress is rumored to be considering taking on the role of the thieving villainess who became famous for teaching geography and history to grade school kids in a series of educational computer games in the early '90s.

The first Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego educational game was released in 1985 before inspiring a children's game show on PBS that aired from 1991 to 1995.

Although the popular franchise reached its peak of popularity during the early '90s, Today Show co-host Matt Lauer began his own version of the game with an adventure segment called "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" in 1998. Lauer traveled the globe as part of a segment for the morning talk show and even borrowed the theme song from Carmen Sandiego's PBS show which was sung by the group Rockapella.

Deadline also reports that Disney has tried to recreate a Carmen Sandiego film for the big screen with a version developed for actress Sandra Bullock, but the project never took off.

Lopez, who has been busy shooting films, videos and American Idol, most recently wrapped What To Expect When You're Expecting with Cameron Diaz and the Taylor Hackford-directed Parker with British actor Jason Statham.

While we can see Lopez as Carmen Sandiego herself -- she definitely looks the part -- we have another actress in mind who would totally fit the role: Angelina Jolie. She does have all that globe-trotting experience behind her, after all. Who else would better know how to look for hidden jewels and secret passageways in Phnom Penh?

Kat Von D calls out Jesse James on his cheating ways

Kat Von D finally came right out and spoke the truth we all knew: Her engagement to Jesse James ended because he was cheating.

Jesse James Kat Von D

Kat Von D split from Jesse James earlier this year after a whirlwind romance and engagement, and now, after months of speculation, the tattoo queen is finally spilling why. Yes, Jesse James cheated on Kat Von D.

Von D spilled the goods in an open letter on her Facebook page.

"Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year," she wrote.

"…There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people's ability to change for the better. Although this was not a primary purpose in the relationship, I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible -- even in the people who seem hopeless.

"I know I deserve a big fat 'I told you so,' from everyone, and wish I didn't have to say, 'You all were more right than you'll ever know' but you were," Von D wrote.

"Yes, I am pretty tired of getting mistaken for the girl who everyone believes to have broken up Jesse and Sandra's marriage, just because I have black hair and tattoos like that other gal. That does get a [sic] quite annoying at times, and it would be nice to not be associated with her, but that's trivial in the grand scheme of things. I think it just made me sad today to imagine him still in that dark place -- where seeking validation through the attention of women takes precedence over being a good father, a sincere friend, a better coworker, and a happy individual.

"I don't want to sink into the feelings of regret, or resentment. Because right now, for the first time in my life I have felt regret, ."

Sounds like Kat Von D finally had her eyes opened to the kind of man she was really dealing with -- something many women can relate to.

Jesse James was previously married to Sandra Bullock. That relationship imploded when it was revealed just days after the actress's Oscar win that James had been cheating on Bullock with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee -- the other girl with black hair and tattoos to whom Von D referred.

Christmas with Sandra Bullock sounds pretty awesome

Sandra Bullock's Christmas is shaping up to be one for the record books! Louis sure is one lucky little kid.

Sandra Bullock

Ho ho ho, Sandra Bullock's Christmas is out of control! The actress is planning a "ridiculous" holiday for son Louis, and isn't the least bit ashamed to be overindulging him — in fact, it's part of her master plan.

Speaking of the holidays and gift giving, Sandra Bullock recently joked to Access Hollywood that 2-year-old son Louis "gets nothing. Not a thing."

She went on in jest saying, "The less you give, the less they'll expect. And that way, if I give him nothing, he won't remember and he won't expect it next year and it's cheaper."

Of course that isn't the truth — in fact, little Louis may just be the luckiest toddler in the world! Along with having been gifted his own Warhol painting, the little guy is about to get what his mother admits is "a little ridiculous" in the excess department come Christmas morning.

Coming forth with the truth, Sandra Bullock shared, "I want the photo ops to be really great because he's not going to remember it, but he'll remember it by the photos and when he's 16 and says, 'I hate you — you're a horrible mother,' I'll go, 'Do you see this Christmas? Do you see that I got you that life-size lion? Shut up! Get in your room and do your homework. I was a good mother then.'"

Though she's got a solid handle on the parenting thing, the 47-year-old isn't sure if Louis, whom she adopted in January 2010, will have a brother or sister someday to share his teenage angst with. "I don't know," she admitted when questioned about adding another child to the family. "I'm so blessed with what I have."

Sandra Bullock loves smuggling sausage

Sandra Bullock has one Christmas tradition she can't live without: Smuggling sausages. It's not as dirty as it sounds -- or is it?

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock sure loves her hot meat. The actress, who has been tied to Ryan Reynolds on and off since her split from cheating husband Jesse James, says that there is one Christmas tradition she absolutely can not live without: Hot, juicy sausage. Indeed.

Unfortunately, it's not nearly as scintillating as it sounds. Bullock told Jay Leno that one family tradition she has kept up after her mother's death is illegally importing sausages from Germany for their Christmas breakfast.

"Since my mother passed, we break the law, because we have to manage to smuggle German sausages into the country, and apparently bringing meats across the waters is against the law," the actress told Leno during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

"You fry 'em up with some sauerkraut and potato salad, but they have to be the right ones."

Christmas with Sandra Bullock sounds pretty awesome>>

So how do they get the forbidden meats into the country? Bullock says they call on friends and family overseas, but won't divulge much more than that.

"We just have to break the law a little bit, but eventually someone's package gets through," she said.

"I'm not at liberty to divulge how we smuggle the sausage."

"When you put it that way," Leno said, "I don't want to know."

Note to self: Don't eat the sausage at Sandra Bullock's house. You don't know where it's been.

Bullock is currently promoting her new movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, due for limited U.S. release on Christmas Day and worldwide release Jan, 20, 2012.

Josesph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel

After splitting from husband Ben Gibbard, Zooey Deschanel is back on the market. Is there anyone out there who can mend her broken heart? Yes! His name is Joseph Gordon-Levitt and he's been Deschanel's friend and occasional co-star for years. Almost a decade before appearing in 500 Days of Summer, they played love interests in the indie drama Manic. Whenever these two are on screen, in interviews or just posing together -- magic happens. They're a match made in hipster heaven.

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams

Even though Ryan Gosling's been spotted with Eva Mendes, and Michelle Williams has been linked to Cary Fukunaga, we're still holding out hope. The Blue Valentine hotties have so much in common. They're the same age, they're former child stars, they're Oscar nominees and they used to live together. They were so dedicated to their roles in Blue Valentine that they shacked up in real life. If they focused on each other, half as much as their characters, sparks would fly.

Drake and Nicki Minaj

Drake and Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj and Drake are two of music's biggest teases. Drake often expresses his love for Minaj in song and the pair is frequently seen together at events. In 2010, the rappers caused a slight uproar when they announced they were married on Twitter. Unfortunately, it was nothing more than a joke gone wrong. Apparently, they share a wicked sense of humor, as well as undeniable chemistry. It's time for these two to get serious about love and each other.

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock

These recently divorced superstars could be the answer to each other's prayers. Ryan Reynolds needs to step away from the younger women and embrace a sexy, hot mama like Sandra Bullock. After co-starring in The Proposal, the actors became close friends but adamantly deny a romantic relationship. Despite their reservations, we still see love in the air. They're both hilarious, self-deprecating and did we mention attractive? We "propose" these two get together and get it on!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

Who needs Prince William and Kate Middleton, when you have Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet? Ever since their introduction in 1997's Titanic, the world hasn't been able to shake the nonexistent couple. It's like they're meant to be. Winslet is DiCaprio's equal in every way. She's got the talent, the looks and as a bonus, she's got an Oscar! Now that he's no longer attached to Blake Lively, and she's split from Sam Mendes, this could be their year. Will their hearts finally go on -- with each other?

Sandra Bullock loves her "sexy" life

Sandra Bullock is busy as real-life mother to son Louis, as well as playing a mom for her role in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. The experiences, as different as night and day, make the actress thankful for her boring "sexy" life.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Sandra Bullock is back on the big-screen in her first role since winning an Academy Award, filing for divorce and becoming a mother.

In Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close Sandra Bullock, pictured here alongside co-stars Tom Hanks and Thomas Horn, plays the mother of a boy struggling to cope with his father's death during the 9/11 terror attacks.

"We like to portray moms as all-knowing, all compassion but that's not who my character was," the Daily News reports Sandra Bullock said. "And I wanted to make sure it stayed that way. I didn't want the studio to go later, 'We'd like her to be more likable.' That's not why I signed on."

In preparation for her role, Sandra Bullock spent time listening to heartbreaking messages left by those trapped inside the World Trade Center for their families.

"The last messages were so inspiring because somehow those who knew that their lives were going to end managed to leave hope and inspiration and kindness and calm for those that they were leaving the messages for," said the 47-year-old mother of adopted son Louis.

"I didn't understand it," she continued. "I didn't know how it could be done, but that last message would be something like, 'You've been amazing. You've been a great husband or wife. I've never loved like that before. The kids are going to be amazing. It's all going to be OK.' The people who are dying were reassuring those who are going to be left behind."

Speaking of motherhood away from the cameras, Sandra Bullock added, "It's the best thing I've ever done. I don't know if my son agrees. But it is the best time I ever had, and there is not a moment I want to leave the house. Right now I'm just loving doctor's appointments and preschool. That's how sexy my life is but I love it."

How one special movie saved a "broken" Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock says the turmoil in her personal life left her shattered and unsure if she'd ever choose to work again. Read on to see what changed her mind.

Sandra BullockWhat doesn't kill you makes you stronger -- and unfortunately Sandra Bullock had to find that out the hard way. Just days after reaching the pinnacle of success in her career with her Oscar win, Bullock found out her husband Jesse James had been cheating on her with a heavily tattooed stripper. Adding insult to injury? Bullock had devoted much of her award season acceptance speeches to how much she loved her man. Even worse? The two were in the midst of adopting a child together.

Sandra Bullock loves her "sexy" life>>

It almost shattered her -- and nearly brought her career to a halt -- but today Sandra Bullock says she is stronger than ever thanks to a very special director offering her a very special role.

"I was perfectly content to be permanently broken," Bullock told the Associated Press about the aftermath of her 2010 split from Jesse James.

"I honestly didn't think I was in a place where I wanted to work or wanted to step out of where I was. I wasn't prepared. But the opportunity was louder than my head."

The opportunity to which she is referring is her role in the touching new film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, playing a 9/11 widow and mother to the precocious 11-year-old main character.

"What a great way to get back on the horse," Bullock said. "It was hard, but it was what it's supposed to be."

In the movie Bullock has a husband, played by Tom Hanks, who loves her enough to give her one final gift before he dies: A phone call to let her know how much he loves her.

"The thing that made it so poignant for me was that Tom Hanks showed up that day," she said. "He sat in a room not far from where I was and made that call every single time. Every time I pick up that phone, it was Tom Hanks on the other end of the line. My husband who is calling because he knows he's going to die, giving me some gift, some joy, some jewel -- something that he can leave me with so he knows I'm going to be OK."

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is currently in limited release. The movie will hit theaters nationwide on Jan. 20.

Movie review: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, starring Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, is a movie filled with true American perseverance and courage.

Extremely Loud photo

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close tells the unflinching story of a boy trying to make sense of the world after his father perishes in 9/11.

Director Stephen Daldry works his magic with young actor Thomas Horn who plays Oskar, evoking a stunning performance from this first-time actor who was "discovered" after winning over $30,000 on Jeopardy during Kids Week. Somehow, it makes sense that the actor playing Oskar would be a real-life Jeopardy winner, given Oskar's intense, hyper-active brain.

But it's not mere trivia Oskar yearns to conquer; it is the meaning of life itself. When Oskar finds a key hidden in his deceased father's closet, he goes on a relentless quest to open a lock that he believes will reveal a message from his father that will help him make sense of a senseless world.

HaywireRead the review >>

The story becomes even more emotionally wrought when Oskar teams up with his grandmother's mysterious tenant, known only as "The Renter," played soulfully by Max von Sydow. The Renter brings his own pathos to the mix when we discover he's mute, clearly having suffered his own trauma.

Oskar pushes The Renter, who communicates through written notes, to reveal his troubled past — perhaps to prepare himself for his own catharsis — but The Renter's damage runs deep. The parallel of these two troubled souls, bonded by mutual anguish, makes for one of the most elegant relationships I've seen on film.

It is this relationship that speaks the most about loss and survival.

Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock gives a powerful performance as Linda, Oskar's grief-stricken mother. She loves her son desperately but hasn't yet found a pathway into Oskar's complicated, obsessive mind. She struggles to be her son's beacon until she realizes she must follow the light emanating from her son's unbreakable will.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close deals with grief and loss head-on without sentimentality. This is evident when Oskar reveals he's printed out photos of men leaping to their deaths from the Twin Towers. After enlarging one image until it's just square pixels, he thinks he's found the last photo of his father as he falls from the sky.

The photo is a chilling reminder to us all about what was sacrificed on this day.

Bottom line: If you're looking for a good cry, this emotionally intense film will do the trick. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is a wonderful and heartbreaking tribute to those affected by 9/11.

6 Strong single Hollywood moms

We're exploring the strong single moms in Hollywood!

These days, there's a lot of stigma connected with being a "Hollywood mom." The general public often perceives them as handing off the responsibilities to hired help like nannies and assistants, and many people read tabloids and get an incorrect view of the Hollywood mother. You might not know it, but a lot of celebrity moms gracing the covers of those weeklies are actually pushing shopping carts with their children just like you in the very supermarkets selling those publications.

Lately, divorce seems to be even more rampant in the entertainment business than ever before. Many women in Hollywood are single because it's difficult to stay married or to find someone who wants to settle down in a place that seems to be always focused on the next big showbiz project. Some Hollywood moms are adopting children and using pregnancy methods like in vitro so they can still have a family without a partner. And this isn't just happening in show business. Women across the country in various professional fields are starting families on their own without husbands. These six women below show how to have a family in Hollywood while being strong single mothers.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra BullockAfter a difficult divorce, Sandra Bullock took the high road and proceeded to improve her life. The Oscar-winning actress stayed busy with work and took on a new role as single mom in real life when she adopted a son in 2010. Bullock is thoroughly involved in her son Louis' life, even photographed recently picking him up from school in L.A. just like other parents everywhere.

Madonna

MadonnaMadonna might be one of the most famous women in the world, but the single mom has always seemed to keep things well-adjusted for her four children. She's a creative inspiration on all fronts for her family, focusing on music as well as film, recently directing her first movie W.E. She even encouraged and helped her young daughter Lourdes become a businesswoman as she launched her own clothing line called Material Girl.

Glam mom style

Mommy starlets did not disappoint on the red carpet last night at the 84th Annual Oscar Awards in Hollywood. Read on to learn about the fabulous, wearable trends of the night and how you can translate these looks into your everyday fashionable-mom life:

Red carpet trends

The fashion trend for 2012 is clearly a return to simple glamour. This year, sleek, fitted and sophisticated gowns in sparkly whites, alluring blacks, bold reds and antique gold tones dominated the red carpet trends. Celebrity moms also wowed us with their clean, luminous makeup and no-nonsense hair. We saw oversized buns and sleek ponytails . Makeup trends ranged from luminous and glowing  to bold, smoky eyes paired with full, red lips.

Jennifer Lopez at 2012 Oscars

Jennifer Lopez wore a glimmering white Zuhair Murad dress with an oversized high bun and glowing skin that made her look like a Greek goddess.

Kelly Ripa at 2012 Oscars

Kelly Ripa was a vision in a pale pistachio green gown from Carolina Herrera. Like Lopez, she wore her hair in a large bun pulled straight back from her face, showing off radiant skin and stand-out eyes.

Gwyneth Paltrow at 2012 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow continued the white trend in an ivory Tom Ford cape dress and a dazzling cuff bracelet. Her hair was pulled off her face in a clean low ponytail and rosy, yet natural makeup.

Angelina Jolie at 2012 Oscars

Mom of six Angelina Jolie continues to enchant us with her vixen beauty. She chose a black velvet Atelier Versace dress with a slit that seemed to go forever. Her hair was worn bombshell full and her makeup bold and alluring.

Sandra Bullock at 2012 Oscars

Sandra Bullock combined the night's fashion trends with a white and black dress with a jeweled gold trim around the waist. Like Gwyneth Paltrow, she showed off her beautiful face with her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail .

Natalie Portman at 2012 Oscars

New mom and last year's Best Actress winner Natalie Portman looked retro sweet in a strapless red and black polka dot vintage dress by Haute Couture Christian Dior circa 1954. Her makeup was bold but not intense with subtle smoky eyes and red-stained lips.

Michelle Williams at 2012 Oscars

Michelle Williams chose a "burnt orange" strapless Louis Vuitton dress with a peplum waist .

Here are some fashion tips for moms to add some red carpet glam into their everyday styles: For Jennifer and Kelly's radiant look, try pairing a fitted, white or ivory knit top with white pants or light blue jeans. Recreate their hair by shampooing and conditioning with a smoothing shampoo. Use a dollop of glossing cream and blow dry straight.

Next, pull your hair up and off of your face and wrap into a high bun and secure with pins. Finally, use a BB Cream followed with a creamy blush. Apply a nude or peach lip gloss to your lips and apply a few faux eyelash pieces to the outer corners of your eyes. Finish with two coats of a volumizing mascara.

For a look that can go from work to PTA, try a red peplum jacket paired with black pants and patent leather pumps.

We were thrilled to find out Charlize Theron just adopted a baby boy named Jackson -- and it got us thinking about other celebrities who became moms and dads through adoption. Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron announced today she has adopted a baby boy, born in the U.S., that she has named Jackson. The 36-year-old single mom shared the news through her rep, who said, "Charlize Theron has adopted a child. She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson."

The Oscar Award-winning actress broke up with actor Stuart Townsend in January 2010 after nine years.

“She has always wanted to be a mom," a source tells Us Weekly. "She is glad to be able to do it on her own now and is so happy to be a mom."

Congratulations to Charlize!

How to resuscitate Lindsay Lohan's "unresponsive" career

$

You might play opossum, er, pass out from exhaustion as well if you had to juggle a mountain of debt with your multiple addictions like Lindsay Lohan. Is it even possible for this wobbly waif to make a career comeback? You can never rule out a surprise ending in Hollywood, so here are our last-ditch ideas for reviving LiLo's semi-conscious career.

Lindsay Lohan CartoonStick her in a movie with Sandra Bullock. Not only is she America's sweetheart, but Sandy is also bankable at the box office. She remained unflappable in the face of the whole Jesse James debacle, so we're betting she could handle any hiccups LiLo hands her with her trademark style and grace.

Give her a make-under. They say less is more, and — girl — much less is definitely much more in your case. You were cute in Parent Trap and Mean Girls, not so much nowadays. Tone down the hair and quit with the facial fillers... you are tap-dancing into Courtney Love territory. After that, you run the risk of turning into "Cat Woman."

Match her up with a "mean mama." No matter how old you get, you never stop fearing a stern phone call from your mother. Even more effective, perhaps, is a mother's special talent for unloading a heaping helping of guilt Since we doubt momager Dina Lohan would be much help, we vote for a surrogate in the likes of Susan Sarandon or Julie Andrews — comforting, with a touch of reproach.

Leash her love for Louboutins. We sure hate to deny a girl her God-given right to shop, but poor LiLo needs an inter-friend-ion on the spending front. Her pricey pockets are basically bare, thanks to her expensive taste and whopping legal fees over the past five years.

Card her. And by card her, we mean ask for her license and never give it back. Ever. Did you see pics of her Porsche after the dump truck disaster? It seems very likely she'll be the next one making headlines for sending produce flying off her windshield at a farmer's market. Nobody wants to be collateral damage when she crawls behind the wheel.

Hook her up with a celebrity sobriety sponsor. She's been dubbed the new Robert Downey Jr., so why not have the comeback kid himself share some pointers for getting and staying clean? LiLo's loser dad, Michael, even reached out to Robert after one of his daughter's rehab relapses. Hey, if Lindsay is anything like RDJ, there may be hope for her yet.

Once upon a time, a beautiful actress rode off into the sunset with a charming suitor. Ah, if only more Hollywood romances played out like fairytales.

Fairytale Pairs

Happily, Jennifer Aniston's engagement to Justin Theroux offers hope to other jilted stars. Here are a few matches we think could be destined for true love.

Katy Perry and Jake Gyllenhaal

Singer Katy Perry

Jake Gyllenhaal at Annual Academy Awards

She may have been raised in a conservative Christian household, but those barely-there ensembles Katy Perry wears onstage are hardly biblical. Bedazzled bustiers aside, this pop diva does Mom and Pop Perry proud — she is just as sweet as the confectionary creations she often wears. We suspect her marriage to Russell Brand soured because the wacky actor failed to share Katy’s values. She told Rolling Stone, after all, that bad things happen when you put sex and spirituality in the same bottle and shake it up. What this girl-next-door needs is a good guy! How about Jake Gyllenhaal? He’s supposedly single, famously close with his fam and, yeah, pretty easy on the eyes. Sorry, John Mayer... you've broken too many Hollywood hearts to fit the bill.

Kate Winslet and Gerard Butler

Kate Winslet at Titanic 3D Premiere

Actor Gerard Butler

We heart Kate Winslet, so it saddens us to know her real love life has been just about as tragic as her ill-fated romantic trysts on Titanic— the Los Angeles premiere of which she missed when her former flame, actor/writer Stephen Tredre, lost his battle to bone cancer. She found love again a few years later on the set of Hideous Kinky when she met director Jim Threapleton. They married in 1998, had daughter Mia in 2000 and were dunzo by 2001. Ever the romantic, Kate followed her heart down the aisle once more when she married director Sam Mendes in 2003, but the pair called it quits a few years shy of a decade. She’s rumored to be dating a model at the moment, but we think she has a real shot with sexy Scot Gerard Butler, who is known for being super nice.

Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s Charlize shacking up with after all? Forget pinpointing the fairest, the pressing question on our minds is how someone as smoking hot as Charlize could actually be single — if, in fact, she is. Several rumored romances have surfaced this year, but the true nature of Charlize’s dating status has remained wrapped up as tightly as her corseted bosoms in Snow White and the Huntsman. We, however, hope there is a spark of truth in the whispers of one potential suitor... her The Devil's Advocate and Sweet November co-star, Keanu Reeves! If the two have as much chemistry in real life as they did onscreen, they could easily pass Charlize’s previous relationship record of nine years .

Sandra Bullock and Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson at Battleship Premiere

Known as America’s sweetheart, Sandra Bullock has served as arm candy for some of Hollywood’s hottest stars — c’mon, we all pulled for her and Matthew McCona-hottie to make it at some point. We even thought she and cerebral stud Ryan Gosling might last . Alas, she had to make her marital bed with bad boy Jesse James… and unfortunately, Jesse chose to lay in said bed with a bevy of what we’re pretty sure used to be girls before all that ink. Since leaving the tattooed tatters of her marriage behind in 2010, Sandy has shifted her focus to doting on her adopted son, Louis. Our pick for Sandy? Iconic actor Liam Neeson, who has been nursing his own broken heart since the untimely death of wife Natasha Richardson in 2009. Perhaps the two could restore each other’s hope in happily ever after....

Celebrities protecting New Orleans homes against Isaac

The celebrities that live in the city are just like everyone else in the face of a storm. Some homes have been boarded up and the stars are presumably elsewhere. But Brad Pitt has 50 homes to protect on top of his own.

Angelina Jolie

When Tropical Storm Isaac hits New Orleans late Tuesday and early Wednesday, it will be the seven-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, one of the worst natural disasters in United States history.

Numerous celebrities have homes in New Orleans and many have been spotted protecting their homes from the incoming storm.

Brad Pitt and Angelina JolieSandra Bullock and John Goodman are some big names taking the necessary precautions to make sure their homes are still standing strong after the tropical storm passes,” said E! News.

By the time Isaac hits land, it is expected to be a category one hurricane, according to the Weather Channel, which means it could bring winds up to 90 miles per hour.

Pitt, Jolie, Bullock and Goodman’s homes have all been closed up, according to E! “Bullock and Goodman's respective homes were boarded up and the windows were covered with sheets of plywood.”

After Hurricane Katrina, Brad Pitt started an organization to help the rebuilding effort in New Orleans. According to NOLA.com, the organization commissioned architecture firms to build eco-friendly homes in the city. In 2010, the organization had built as many as 50 homes.

Pitt said in an interview with the website that he was first in New Orleans while filming Interview With the Vampire in 1994 and fell in love with the city.

The organization, called "Make It Right," today posted a message to New Orleans residents on their website.

“As Hurricane Isaac approaches, Make It Right urges all homeowners and residents to follow the Mayor’s recommendation and immediately evacuate if the order is given,” said the statement. “Our homes are designed to reduce risk of damage from a storm; homeowners should utilize protective hurricane fabric provided for windows and doors and secure all furniture, plants and other items outdoors that could cause damage to your house or your neighbors’ homes.”

Isaac is expected to hit hurricane status soon, but, in comparison, Hurricane Katrina was a category five storm and the city of New Orleans told ABC News they feel prepared this time.
